Description

UDL is best implemented globally so that all learning activities are developed and delivered with UDL.  PD,  professional learning and faculty meetings are great opportunities to experience UDL in action and model the use of the framework. This session will explore how a universally designed professional learning session or faculty meeting can be more engaging, informative  and productive by “walking the walk” instead of just “talking the talk.”

Objectives

  • Explore the need for UDL in faculty meetings, professional development and PLCs.
  • Experiment with the possibilities of UDL in PD.
  • Reflect on the possibilities of UDL in PD and the effect that it can have on teaching practice.
