Pam Tupy
Education Consultant

Pam has spent the past 25 years making public education more inclusive, more collaborative, and a whole lot more human. With experience in both elementary and secondary classrooms and a deep background in special education Pam has taught, co-taught, and coached her way through nearly every corner of the system. Her passion? Helping educators create classrooms where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged.

Her journey into education began when she developed an arts-based program for adults with disabilities and saw firsthand how creativity could unlock communication, confidence, and connection. That experience lit a fire that brought her to Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she earned her master’s in Arts in Education and dove deep into the study of neurodiversity.

Pam’s work today focuses on implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), and inclusive models like co-teaching. She’s also certified in Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) and is especially passionate about supporting students who are gifted or Twice Exceptional (2e) because every student deserves a learning environment that meets them where they are and helps them thrive.

She lives in Orange County, California with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and a thriving collection of indoor plants. Pam brings warmth, wisdom, and just the right amount of wit to everything she does, and she’s never met a learning challenge she didn’t want to solve.

What I love about the courses with Pam and Novak Education is that, unlike many Professional Development courses, they quickly move past the theory of UDL and its benefits, and move on to how to implement it in your classroom. They walk the talk by organizing the course in a UDL style, so you can experience it from the student perspective.  Unlike other classes where you read theory and write papers that you will never look at again, the assignments have you creating resources and materials that can be implemented immediately in your classroom. Pam has been a thought provoking and engaging facilitator as well. She is prompt and detailed with her feedback and assignments. I have enjoyed the two classes I have taken and feel my students have benefited from the revamped materials offering them more choice in their learning and more scaffolding for their success.
