Leslie Blake-Davis (Technical Assistance Provider) has spent 17 years in the public school in roles that include elementary classroom teacher, reading
specialist, literacy coach, principal, and director of teaching and learning. Her areas of expertise focus on literacy coaching and strategic planning among groups of teachers to increase access to the standards and improve student performance. Her leadership efforts have led to the formation of collaborative data analysis structures through inquiry-based teams and school reform through innovation school status. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts focused on shared leadership among teachers in order to make decisions that create equitable learning conditions for all students.
