Laurie Casna is the Superintendent of the Central Berkshire Regional School District. Prior to that she worked for several years in administration as a Director of Personnel and Student Services in Eastern, Ma. Additionally, she spent several years as a building based special education administrator and teacher working with students with moderate and severe disabilities. She has advanced degrees in special education and educational leadership as well as a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Northeastern University. She has taught graduate courses for MCLA and Framingham State University in Special Education Law, Co-Teaching and Working with Students with Disabilities in Inclusive Settings. This is her second year as a Targeted Assistance Provider in the Inclusive Practices Academy.
