Description

What if every learner walked into class knowing the resources, supports, and challenges had already been designed with them in mind? Generative AI can help make that future a reality when teachers use it to amplify, not replace, their expertise. This workshop, inspired by the book Elevating Educational Design With AI, spotlights how AI accelerates Universal Design for Learning planning, delivers truly accessible materials, and restores balance to teachers’ workloads, all while keeping humanity at the center of innovation.

Objectives

  • Harness the Human Element with AI: Discover how AI can’t replace the heart of teaching - but it can elevate it.
  • Engage with real-world examples of how educators are using AI to design more engaging, inclusive, and student-centered learning experiences.
  • Learn how to seamlessly integrate AI tools to universally design instruction -even when using high-quality instructional programs.
