Meet the Team

Talisa Sullivan
Strategic Partner - Transformational Leadership Consulting

Dr. Sullivan has been an educator for close 20 years serving students, teachers, staff, parents, and the community across four large counties: Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange. She specializes in serving marginalized youth who have experienced intergenerational inequities and marginalization and has built a rapport as an equity leader for county offices, comprehensive and alternative schools, and programs throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Teaching Credential from Cal State Dominguez Hills, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Cal State San Bernardino, and a PhD. in Education with an emphasis on Urban Leadership from Claremont Graduate University.

In addition to serving as an administrator in K-12 public education, Dr. Sullivan has served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education for the Teacher Education Program as well as the Doctoral in Education Leadership Program at local Universities.  She also serves as the Founder, CEO, and Lead Consultant for Transformational Leadership Consulting “TLC” Services. She has delivered Keynote speeches at local universities and school districts as well as served as a breakout session speaker at several major conferences.  Dr. Sullivan has facilitated several trainings on UDL. She also served as a contributor to the Book Equity by Design.

Dr. Sullivan has a magnitude of knowledge and training in education and is passionate about working with educators who prepare students for 21st Century college and careers.  She specializes in the following areas; Adaptive Leadership, Equitable Practices, Marginalized Populations, Alternative Education, Restorative Justice, Diversity, Leadership Development, Cultural Proficiency and UDL  She has developed an equity framework called Quantum Ten (Q10).

She is the creator of the Q10 and has a magnitude of knowledge and training in education and is passionate about working with educators who prepare students for 21st Century college, careers, and overall success. Dr. Sullivan’s mission is to make a positive impact on education by disrupting systemic barriers that impede success, building sustaining bridges that empower others, and ensuring our historically marginalized students, staff, teachers, and leaders have what they need to be successful in all of their endeavors.
