Andy Laverne's experience has come from years of work undertaking campaign, communications, and research roles for Think Tanks, nonprofits, and government public offices such as the Massachusetts State House. His efforts with nonprofits included the application of immigration legislation into campaigning for Massachusetts Immigration & Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) of Boston, and grant writing research resulting in an award of thousands of dollars in funds for Project Citizenship of Boston.
His work with the Think Tank, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, included assisting with event proposals, creating a network node of virtual events, researching relevant keynote speakers by topic, compiling data on foreign policy initiatives, and preparing outlines for the assistant director.
Andy's gained valuable communications experience in his past roles as a Senate Intern for Massachusetts State Senator and Assistant Majority Leader Sal DiDomenico where he conducted research, wrote legislative summaries, introduced speakers at committee hearings, and wrote briefings.
He graduates with a Bachelor's in Political Science at Providence College.
